Nearly a year ago, and to much fanfare in the blogosphere, a putative class action lawsuit was filed against Zango, known at the time as 180solutions, Inc. Yesterday, the case – Simios v. 180solutions, Inc. – was dismissed, with prejudice. The dismissal is not the result of a settlement, completely ends the litigation and is not subject to appeal.
Confident since the lawsuit’s inception that there was no merit to any of the plaintiffs’ claims, Zango vigorously defended itself and is pleased with – but not, quite frankly, terribly surprised by – yesterday’s result.
